gh pr ready

Mark a draft pull request as ready for review

What it does

A draft is a pull request still in progress: people can see it, but it cannot be merged and reviewers get no requests. gh pr ready removes the draft mark when you are done.

gh pr ready --undo turns the PR back into a draft if it turns out there is more work. gh pr create --draft creates a PR as a draft from the start.

Syntax

gh pr ready <number>
gh pr ready <number> --undo

Examples

• Mark the draft pull request 42 as ready for review

  gh pr ready 42

  • pr ready — remove the draft mark
  • 42 — the pull request number
