pwd

Show which folder you are in

What it does

pwd (print working directory) prints the full path of the current folder, such as /home/anna/projects/shop. Every relative path, like src/app.js or ../logs, starts from it.

The prompt usually shows only the last part of the path, or ~ for your home folder, so pwd helps whenever you are not sure where you are.
