gh issue list

List issues

What it does

gh issue list lists the repository's open issues: number, title, labels and when each was updated. It shows the latest 30 by default; --limit changes that.

The filters are like those of gh pr list: --label bug by label, --assignee @me for those assigned to you, --state closed for closed ones, --search for a query in GitHub search syntax.

Syntax

gh issue list
gh issue list --label <label>
gh issue list --assignee @me

Examples

• List the repository's open issues

  gh issue list

  • issue — tasks and bugs
  • list — list; open ones by default

• List the open issues labeled bug

  gh issue list --label bug

  same as: gh issue list -l bug

  • issue list — list issues
  • --label bug — only with the label bug
